Communications Consultant | Strategy, Thought Leadership & Inclusive Storytelling

Sarah is an experienced Communications and Media Manager/Consultant with a decade of experience delivering multi-channel communication strategies within global organisations, including Mercy Corps, SPARK, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. With a BSc Hons in Psychology and a background in filmmaking and journalism, Sarah is an expert generalist and skilled at engaging diverse stakeholders through compelling storytelling, audience-first messaging and insight-driven campaigns.

Sarah has significant international experience across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She advises senior leadership teams and C-suite executives, and has a track record of producing engaging multimedia content. Her work has been nominated for the Smiley Charity Film Awards, High Flyer Award 2021 by the Expertise Centre for Humanitarian Communication, and received the 2020 Honors from Awwward Academy (website).

Sarah is passionate about decolonising communications and shifting the balance of power within INGO storytelling. She has spoken in numerous public forums about this topic, including at the Partos Innovation Festival, and provides regular training for NGO/charity communications teams.
